can Enhance
Romance.
Oriental Medicine relates to all aspects of life including reproduction and libido and examines how low libido could be typically caused by imbalance and deficiency in our systems.
So how do we fix this? We always start with our environment and lifestyle. Are we getting our basic needs met such as, nutrient dense foods, enough sleep, prayer or meditative time, fresh air and exercise? After consideration of all these factors, we can begin to correct the specific issues. If your libido needs more attention, there is a great deal of research showing the efficacy of Oriental Medicine. Acupuncture and herbs can be extremely beneficial with virtually no side effects.
Self-help tips: Massage and warm your low abdominal area with a hot water bottle and soak your feet in warm unscented Epsom salt water nightly. Practice some Chi Kung exercises. Chi Kung is an ancient Chinese system of postures, exercises, breathing techniques, and meditations.
Beneficial foods: Gogi berries, asparagus, alfalfa sprouts, celery, bell pepper, scallion, potato, sweet potato, string beans, seaweed, chive, clove, cinnamon, fennel, pepper, parsley, rosemary, thyme, (kidney from beef, pork, chicken and sheep), egg, goat milk, lobster, and scallops are a few of them.
If you choose herbal supplements, seek out a professional. Herbs have the potential to do you harm if used improperly. In my extensive years of training, I have learned, not all herbs are the same, nor should everyone take the same herbs, due to individual needs. Herbal supplements can be contaminated, so it is critical to know your source. Don't be fooled by pretty packaging. I am the only Nationally Board Certified Oriental Medicine Herbalist in the area. Please come in for a consultation if you feel the need to use herbs.
